Rejuvenate Motion Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Newport News, Virginia. In this role, you will play a critical part in guiding our patients through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on restoring mobility, enhancing physical performance, and improving quality of life. Work Environment

The rehabilitation center operates in a vibrant, supportive environment where teamwork is paramount. You will be working alongside a team of two other experienced physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient to create tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, providing focused attention and high-quality care to each individual.
• Employ evidence-based practices to apply various therapeutic modalities aimed at increasing the range of motion and overall mobility.
• Reduce reliance on prescription medications by exploring non-surgical options and promoting adaptive therapies.
• Develop and implement personalized fitness and wellness plans to motivate patients and enhance their functional capabilities.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal health outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress diligently to maintain accurate records and continuity of care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment process, helping them develop physical attributes such as strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily caters to a diverse clientele ranging from professional athletes to everyday individuals seeking rehabilitation from injuries or surgeries. We emphasize orthopedic outpatient care, ensuring that our rehabilitation approaches are specific to each patient's conditions and lifestyle. You will engage deeply with patients throughout their treatment journey to foster trust and encourage positive health decisions.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist License issued in Virginia, with no disciplinary actions or grievances on record.
• Exemplary manual therapy skills, adept at employing techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment outcomes efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is strongly preferred, providing a foundation for dealing with a wide array of injuries and recovery scenarios.
• Experience in developing individualized treatment plans and an understanding of sports medicine is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
