Work Environment

The role of a Physical Therapist at Head Hunters Chiropractic Clinic is primarily onsite, with services delivered directly in the comfort of our clients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability and alleviating pain, in alignment with clients' physician prescriptions.
• Evaluate clients' physical abilities through comprehensive assessments, using diagnostic tests to inform personalized care strategies.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and ensure adherence to established treatment protocols and client care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' home environments to recommend modifications that support independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and any necessary physical agent techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, advising on needed modifications to improve client mobility.
• Document client progress and response to therapy in clinical records, including care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with policy and regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively develop and adjust treatment strategies.
• Engage in patient and family education regarding therapy techniques, home exercises, and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Comply with all documentation and ordering requirements in a timely manner.

The clientele served in this role includes a diverse array of patients, ranging from individuals recovering from surgeries and injuries to those managing chronic conditions that impair mobility and function. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing in the State of Virginia.
• Valid CPR certification and a driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A passion for delivering quality patient care with an emphasis on clinical integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Ability to think critically and make independent clinical decisions.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care or home healthcare setting.
• Experience in creating individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
• Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertaining to home health agencies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
