Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic illnesses through hands-on therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis, physical condition, and personal goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescription, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and re-evaluating therapeutic goals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide recommendations for assistive devices to enhance patient self-care and mobility, and follow up to ensure the proper fitting and use of these aids.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on home exercises, safety precautions, and the use of assistive technology, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to continue their rehabilitation effectively.
• Stay informed on advances in physical therapy practices by attending workshops, pursuing continuing education opportunities, and participating in professional associations.
