Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise regimens, and assistive devices.
• Document patient progress meticulously using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Web PT, ensuring accurate and timely data input.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and adjust plans to meet evolving patient goals.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and other health professionals about therapy methods, assistive devices, and optimal self-care practices.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices through continuous education, workshops, and professional networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Saint Vincent Therapeutics, you will work with a diverse patient population including children, adults, and seniors. Patients under your care may present with a wide range of ailments, from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management and rehabilitation from injuries. Your expertise will directly contribute to their recovery journey and enhance their overall physical health and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with no history of sanctions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Strong documentation skills with proficiency in EMR systems, specifically Web PT.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with a variety of physical therapy modalities for effective patient treatment.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
