Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' unique recovery needs, ensuring effective progression toward their rehabilitation goals.
• Oversee a reasonable patient load, allowing for sufficient one-on-one time with each client to foster trust and achieve optimal recovery results.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic outpatient care, leveraging prior experience to inform treatment strategies and interventions.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities and therapies that enhance mobility and functional movement, emphasizing non-surgical techniques whenever possible.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that include a variety of treatment methods, such as hands-on therapy, exercise programming, and home exercise recommendations.
• Guide patients through tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with their specific goals, promoting enhanced physical health and vitality.
• Motivate patients by offering encouragement and support during their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and respectful therapeutic environment.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive treatment plans and comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Web PT for precise and comprehensive documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinic serves a diverse patient population, including post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals dealing with chronic pain. Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective exercise programs that cater to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to manage patient documentation and treatment records effectively.
• Strong foundation in current physical therapy techniques supported by research, ensuring best practice implementation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred, particularly with an orthopedic focus.
• Background working with sports injuries and a strong understanding of sports medicine principles.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
