Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred by physicians and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual conditions and goals.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modalities tailored within the physician's plan of care.
• Assess patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and documenting outcomes comprehensively.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring that patients feel supported and understood throughout their rehabilitation experience.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises and strategies to enhance rehabilitation and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Meet performance goals and assist in achieving the operational objectives of the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will treat a diverse clientele, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Your expertise will allow you to address various conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management, ensuring that each patient receives targeted care that reflects their unique needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred for comprehensive clinical practice.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy, allowing for practice within Florida regulations.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in word processing and using electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome new graduates, candidates with experience in orthopedic settings are preferred. Previous roles involving patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration will enhance integration into our team. A demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients and a proactive approach to community engagement will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
