Ace Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Cypress, Florida. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology and approximately 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and physical therapy, allowing us to provide exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs. We operate under a patient-centered model, focusing primarily on individuals with private medical insurance and ensuring they receive personalized attention from our skilled team.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires on-site work within our collaborative environment, where you will be surrounded by a team of two dedicated physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic operates in a well-organized setting designed to optimize patient care, featuring modern equipment and resources to facilitate comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Our work schedule extends from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently assess and address individual patient goals and needs through thorough evaluations and personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour while ensuring high-quality, tailored therapy sessions.
• Apply evidence-based interventions and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' range of motion and mobility, targeting specific orthopedic conditions.
• Devise and implement cost-effective treatment regimens to reduce dependency on medications and minimize the need for surgical interventions.
• Collaborate closely with patients in the development of comprehensive care plans that detail treatment techniques and progress tracking.
• Create individualized wellness and fitness programs that promote active lifestyles and injury prevention for patients.
• Motivate and inspire patients throughout their therapeutic journey to enhance their functionality and foster a commitment to healthy living.
• Conduct regular evaluations of treatment outcomes, diligently monitor each patient's progress, and maintain accurate documentation of all care services provided.
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by consulting with other healthcare professionals, ensuring holistic care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our focus is on providing rehabilitation services to individuals with various needs, from athletes returning to their sports to elderly patients aiming to enhance their mobility and independence. The patient-centered approach ensures that each client receives the attention and care required for effective recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist is required to practice in the state.
• Demonstrate a clean professional record, with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Exhibit strong competency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing and implementing exercise protocols.
• Proficient in using WebPT EMR software for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Preferred candidates will have prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a proven track record of effective patient outcomes.
• Strong manual therapy skills and familiarity with current orthopedic rehabilitation trends will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
