Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite within our outpatient clinic. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Maximum Motion Physical Therapy Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients to formulate individualized treatment plans that address their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Managing a controlled caseload to ensure that each patient receives personalized attention during their therapy sessions.
• Employing advanced techniques in orthopedic outpatient care supported by your professional expertise.
• Implementing cost-effective treatment methods to enhance patients' mobility and functional capacity.
• Focusing on non-surgical alternatives, educating patients about pain management, and minimizing reliance on medications.
• Designing and adjusting comprehensive care plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation exercises.
• Establishing tailored fitness and wellness programs to promote overall health and recovery based on individual patient needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes and improve their daily functional abilities.
• Motivating patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals and adhere to exercise regimens.
• Monitoring ongoing progress through regular assessments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will serve a diverse group of patients spanning various age groups and backgrounds, all of whom face orthopedic challenges affecting their mobility and quality of life. You will focus on creating tailored rehabilitation strategies for patients recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions that impact their physical performance and everyday activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record and no history of sanctions.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and a strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate patient documentation and management.
• A strong commitment to staying current with advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation practices.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experience is preferred:

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with a solid understanding of sports and orthopedic injuries.
• Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy techniques and methodologies supported by current research.
• Diverse experience working with varied patient populations to ensure comprehensive and adaptable care.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
