Position Overview

Advanced Global Movement Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Cypress, Florida. This position is a full-time role that focuses on delivering individualized rehabilitation care in an onsite rehabilitation center. The therapist's primary responsibility will be to support patients in recovering mobility, enhancing their physical performance, and consequently improving their overall quality of life.

Work Environment

The work setting at our Cypress location is highly collaborative, fostering an environment where healthcare professionals work together to optimize patient outcomes. With a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, the role offers a balanced work-life dynamic, enabling therapists to engage fully with their patients while also maintaining personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs thoroughly, creating individualized treatment plans that address specific mobility and functional goals.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and adequate time for personalized therapy sessions.
• Deliver expert orthopedic outpatient care based on clinical best practices and previous hands-on experience as an active Physical Therapist.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities that prioritize clients' recovery and rehabilitation without over-reliance on surgical interventions or medications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans which incorporate a variety of treatment approaches tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Lead engaging fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strengths, flexibility, and coordination.
• Provide continuous motivation and support to patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Document treatment protocols and patient progress accurately using effective electronic medical record (EMR) software.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current trends in physical therapy to provide evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of our practice is on orthopedic patients, including athletes recovering from injuries, surgical cases dealing with joint issues, and individuals seeking recovery from musculoskeletal conditions. Dedicated therapists will work closely with patients in both short and long-term rehabilitation scenarios, emphasizing patient-centered care that empowers individuals to regain independence and functional mobility.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida with an excellent professional record, including no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate mastery of various manual therapy techniques and treatment modalities relevant to orthopedic cases.
• Exhibit a strong capability for developing effective and successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Proficient in using EMR software such as Web PT to maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements and methodologies in physical therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics or sports rehabilitation environments is preferred.
• Proven skills in managing diverse patient populations with varied clinical presentations in rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, benefits include health insurance, retirement savings options, and opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
