Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine the most effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement and oversee personalized physical therapy programs that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives focused and effective treatment.
• Develop and communicate clear and achievable goals for patient recovery, consistently evaluating their progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly.
• Employ evidence-based practices to enhance rehabilitation outcomes, striking a balance between effective therapy and patient education on self-management techniques.
• Document all sessions meticulously using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to ensure comprehensive records of treatments and patient progress are kept.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment, encouraging patients to maintain their commitment to recovery and promote healthy lifestyle changes.
• Regularly collaborate and communicate with other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals, from active athletes to the elderly, all seeking to improve their physical function and quality of life. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will directly contribute to their recovery and long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques, with a solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation protocols.
• Capability to effectively document patient care and treatment plans using EMR software, particularly Web PT.
• A proven record of implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing and applying innovative treatment strategies for patients with complex conditions.
• Additional certification in specialized physical therapy treatment modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
