Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine specific physical therapy needs, utilizing evidence-based assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on individual patient presentations and needs, ensuring optimal care delivery.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes in a timely and precise manner, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, encouraging compliance and participation in their own care.
• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up procedures to ensure continued care beyond the rehabilitation facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our outpatient orthopedic unit, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse patient population ranges from active athletes to seniors seeking to regain mobility. Your role will be vital in enhancing their functional abilities and supporting their return to daily activities and sports.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy, as required by Florida law.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in treatment methodologies associated with musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
