Position Overview

OnTrack Physical Therapy & Wellness is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center located in Cypress, Florida. This full-time role is essential in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. With a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, the position is designed for skilled professionals committed to patient care and outcomes.

Work Environment

You will be working in a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center that is fully equipped to support various outpatient orthopedic patients. The center focuses on fostering a dynamic team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration among physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. The operating hours are structured to provide optimal work-life balance, with shifts from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with state practice acts and laws governing physical therapy practice, ensuring all actions align with legal and ethical standards.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and disabilities, leading to the development of effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that reflect evaluation findings while adapting plans to meet changing patient conditions.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to make informed recommendations relating to patient care, documenting any changes in condition that require adjustments in treatment.

• Facilitate the discharge planning process, ensuring clear and timely documentation that reflects the patient's progress and outlines future needs in their care journey.

• Maintain compliance with corporate and clinical services training requirements, adapting to evolving regulations and healthcare practices.

• Participate actively in facility meetings and engage in initiatives aimed at identifying and removing barriers to patient access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at OnTrack, you will work primarily with outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Your role is pivotal in restoring functional mobility and enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all ages dealing with musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is necessary.

• Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years, candidates with experience in advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities, knowledge of rehabilitation technologies, or specialized certifications related to orthopedics will be preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will enhance your application.
