Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' substance abuse histories, mental health challenges, and therapeutic needs, ensuring a thorough understanding of each individual’s unique situation.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, employing engaging techniques to maintain client participation and motivation.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide holistic support, sharing insights and recommendations based on client progress during regular team meetings.

• Educate and support clients' families, involving them in the recovery process to foster a nurturing environment that enhances client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring the integrity of client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients struggling with substance dependency and related mental health issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will play a pivotal role in guiding them through their recovery journeys by applying your expertise in addictive behaviors and mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related discipline is required.

• Demonstrated experience or specialization in addiction counseling and substance abuse treatments.

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices addressing substance use disorders and concurrent mental health conditions.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients toward positive change.
