Work Environment\n

The position is offered as a remote opportunity, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own space while also having access to our outpatient office as needed. This flexible arrangement is designed to enhance work-life balance for our employees while maintaining a high level of professional interaction and support as part of our cohesive team. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive and tailored treatment plans based on their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Offer guidance and educational resources to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches and patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings to promote a unified approach to client care.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, including support for reducing stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on clients dealing with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The therapist will work closely with individuals who may also belong to vulnerable populations such as refugees, the homeless, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, dependent on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
