Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Navigate Family & Youth Therapy Services, your primary responsibility will be to:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gauge clients' trauma backgrounds and establish suitable treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment strategies aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and navigate clients toward available resources.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and constructive coping mechanisms.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in professional development and case consultations focusing on trauma-informed care, continually updating your expertise in the latest research and methodologies.

Your work will primarily involve clients facing trauma-related challenges, requiring a strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles. You will engage with diverse populations, helping them to navigate their mental health challenges through supportive and evidence-based interventions. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will hold:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
