Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and create tailored treatment strategies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups, employing modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community and provide vital coping strategies for common mental health issues.

• Collaboratively work with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to each patient’s care.

• Offer crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate services are available.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and connect them with community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with health regulations and ethical guidelines while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and service delivery.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health therapies to continuously optimize patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients who are facing various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, young adults dealing with anxiety and depression, families grappling with life transitions, and individuals seeking support for substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate care tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York state.

• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective, personalized treatment plans.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
