Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting. However, you will be part of a vibrant team within our Columbus clinic, engaging in regular collaborative meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills. The work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and present clinical needs, utilizing validated assessment tools.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that help clients process trauma, build coping strategies, and enhance their overall mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Respond effectively to trauma-related crises, providing timely support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, healthy coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with best practices in mental health care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training focused on the latest trauma-informed care methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing the challenges of complex trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. Our focus is on providing patients with empathetic, culturally competent care that meets them where they are emotionally and psychologically. Your role is to not only facilitate therapy sessions but to empower clients by helping them understand their experiences and take meaningful steps toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed practices and a proven ability to engage clients who face severe mental health challenges.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a compassionate and non-judgmental approach throughout therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
