Work Environment\n

The position allows for remote work, making it easier for dedicated mental health professionals to join our team without the challenges of commuting. While you may be based remotely, you will engage regularly with patients through teletherapy, thus maintaining a strong rapport as you provide therapeutic services. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients' trauma histories and outline appropriate treatment methodologies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and enhancing overall mental health and wellness.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively addressing the specific needs of each patient.

• Deliver counseling services through both individual and group therapy formats, facilitating sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

• Respond to crisis situations with empathy and professionalism, providing immediate support and resources to patients in trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on understanding trauma responses and connecting them with community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our organization specifically focuses on individuals encountering challenges due to traumatic experiences. Clients may present with symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other related mental health conditions. As a licensed mental health therapist, you will utilize your expertise to build strong therapeutic relationships, guiding individuals through their healing journeys and promoting resilience in an empathetic and understanding manner.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a demonstrated focus on trauma-related treatment.

• Solid knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress environments, demonstrating effective crisis intervention skills.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications for documentation and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
