Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to assess client needs, documenting detailed case notes from initial consultations through treatment completion.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement appropriate intervention strategies for diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, leading both individual and group therapies aimed at addressing specific issues and promoting recovery.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors—to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Maintain open lines of communication with referring professionals and conduct follow-ups for clients requiring hospitalizations.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges and strategies for managing behaviors that may hinder recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A passing score on relevant certification exams such as the NCE and/or NCMHCE.
\n
• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, with a strong foundation in therapy techniques.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for maintaining accurate client records and treatment plans.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• In-depth understanding of the effects of pharmacological treatments prescribed by healthcare providers, especially in relation to mental health recovery.

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

• Background in working with clients experiencing co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, including addiction.

• Experience leading group therapy sessions and workshops is highly desirable.

• Engagement with community mental health initiatives and programs is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
