Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments, exploring a patient's trauma history to tailor effective treatment modalities.

• Create and manage individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for patients to share their experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response to patient needs.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms to enhance their understanding and adaptive skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
