Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Small Steps Developmental Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing strong therapeutic relationships, and upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and prepare for appropriate discharge processes.

• Developing, implementing, and assessing person-centered treatment plans, ensuring they align with the specific needs and goals of each client.

• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.

• Performing thorough intake assessments to better understand clients’ histories and current mental health status.
\n
• Participating in individual supervision to foster professional growth and development.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to deliver integrated care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• An unrestricted, independent, and valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate:

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and telehealth platforms, including RMS systems and Outlook.

• Direct experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families, particularly in a telehealth context.

• Comfort and experience with conducting comprehensive intake assessments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Small Steps Developmental Services, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our compensation structure is based on a fee-for-service model with guaranteed rates paid in advance of collections, eliminating wait times for reimbursements. Additional benefits include:
