This remote position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse set of clients through our outpatient office in Garland, Texas. Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some adjustments possible based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique context, history, and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, considering individual cultural backgrounds and preferences.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health challenges and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to provide holistic care across disciplines, ensuring that all aspects of the patient’s wellbeing are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention support, demonstrating strong calming techniques and effective communication skills during high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and treatment options to foster understanding and empower decision-making.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards in our electronic health records (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular case conferences, professional development training, and cultural competency workshops to enhance your skills and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and approaches in the field of mental health therapy, particularly focusing on cultural factors in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is on serving a multicultural patient base, including individuals from various ethnicities, orientations, and backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to provide care to clients from the LGBTQ+ community, assist immigrant populations, and work with those from traditionally underserved communities. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural responsiveness in clinical settings.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy that is sensitive to the cultural context of clients.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, able to maintain composure and provide empathetic support in emergency situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building authentic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficient in using software applications relevant to clinical documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
