Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our West McLean rehabilitation facility, which features state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive atmosphere conducive to both patient recovery and professional growth. Our facility is designed to accommodate diverse rehabilitation needs, and our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely to devise comprehensive care plans. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, providing a consistent structure that allows therapists to manage their time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient history, administering specific assessments, and delivering clear documentation of results, which lay the groundwork for informed treatment strategies.

• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes to foster a collaborative healing environment.

• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's condition while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape to ensure optimal care delivery.

• Engage in consultation with other healthcare professionals as necessary, promptly documenting any changes in patient condition that may require adjustments to the care plan.

• Manage discharge planning and ensure comprehensive follow-up care, while accurately documenting all patient care activities to provide a transparent and detailed care trajectory.

• Exhibit excellent time management skills by maintaining an organized schedule and meeting productivity expectations while contributing to departmental goals and meeting compliance with regulations.

• Take an active part in professional development and continuing education, serving as a clinical instructor for students in our Physical Therapy program.

• Facilitate a positive customer experience while contributing to initiatives aimed at improving access to care in our community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a commitment to adhering to state licensure requirements as applicable to West McLean, Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
