Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients presenting with symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, focusing on their severity and impact on daily living.

• Collaborate with clients to create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique experiences, needs, and therapeutic goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting approaches based on client responses.

• Provide education to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to promote informed decision-making.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, and refine treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring integrated care that addresses both psychological and pharmacological needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, providing support and therapeutic interventions to help them navigate the complexities of their mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.
