Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately gauge the mental health needs of students, collaborating closely with educators, parents, and school staff to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Offer evidence-based therapy services using individualized and group approaches, applying techniques based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities.

• Coordinate with case managers, psychiatrists, and the educational team to provide integrated and holistic care, regularly updating treatment plans based on progress and new insights.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and intervention for students experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies.

• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness, promoting resilience, and reducing stigma around mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be experiencing significant life challenges, including academic stress, trauma, and family dynamics. Your role is essential in navigating the unique psychological landscape of our youth and fostering their mental and emotional development. You will also support educators and families in fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Current, independent, and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) .

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with students and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a firm commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure thorough and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school-based setting or with youth interventions is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to navigate the educational framework and understand students’ unique challenges.

• Familiarity with using teletherapy platforms effectively in delivering mental health services, maintaining engagement in virtual environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
