Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida, a city known for its vibrant lifestyle and beautiful coastal views. Here, you will work Monday through Friday, a standard 40-hour week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients as referred by their healthcare providers, developing individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols that utilize various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the needs of each patient.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide education and consultative support to patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand the treatment process and home care requirements.
• Consistently demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence, contributing to a welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and participate in team initiatives that drive organizational success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Your expertise will assist individuals of all ages in overcoming physical challenges, reclaiming their mobility, and achieving personal health goals. By employing a variety of evidence-based treatment methodologies, you will help patients rebuild their strength and functionality following injuries, surgeries, or disabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license for Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for patient interaction and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in word processing, data entry, and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to fostering strong relationships with patients and community members to facilitate successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience treating a wide range of conditions and utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to connect positively with patients and inspire them throughout their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits
