As a fully remote organization, Wellness First Psychiatric Center embraces a flexible work model that allows therapists to provide care from the comfort of their own homes. This position emphasizes a work-life balance that includes the ability to create your own schedule during standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, without any on-call responsibilities. To maintain patient privacy, you will need a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that ensures confidentiality during sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly therapeutic sessions via secure live video conferencing, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to foster client engagement and progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers and fellow counselors to formulate comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Utilize computer-based self-assessment tools to monitor client symptoms and progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on these assessments.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment efficacy and receive peer support in challenging situations.

• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and outcome measures using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to adults, emphasizing the importance of empathy and understanding in therapeutic practices. You will engage with clients facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The therapist role goes beyond mere treatment; it’s about empowering clients to identify their strengths and develop coping strategies to enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Demonstrated experience in telehealth therapy, especially with adolescents and young adults, is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in utilizing technology, including Google Suite and electronic health records, to facilitate seamless service delivery.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and the interdisciplinary care team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Wellness First Psychiatric Center offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
