Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Men’s Talk Mental Health Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify individual patient needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Collaborating with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to communicate individual progress and coordinate care effectively.
\n
• Developing and maintaining a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and patient observations to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans when necessary.
\n
• Executing home visits to conduct in-home observations, review charts, and perform staff interviews that contribute to effective patient management.
\n
• Ensuring that all elements of program plans are effectively implemented and evaluated for quality assurance.
\n
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates regarding patient care.
\n
• Documenting patient progress through detailed monthly and quarterly notes to support ongoing treatment and compliance with regulatory standards.
\n
• Providing training and certification for staff on program plan implementation and relevant documentation standards, ensuring a knowledgeable and skilled team.
\n
• Offering follow-up interviews and additional home visits to continue supporting patients' evolving needs.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely records to ensure all stakeholders have access to necessary patient information.

• Acting as a liaison with the broader mental health community to enhance collaboration and support for development goals within the organization.

• Contributing to the creation and update of training materials that improve programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a wide array of clients, including both adults and youths, who seek guidance and support for various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use, using evidence-based practices and personalized treatment approaches that focus on their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Strong understanding of legal, ethical, and clinical standards in mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster rapport with a diverse clientele and support effective communication.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing positively to team dynamics.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies necessary for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders will be highly regarded. Such expertise will enhance our capabilities in meeting the specific needs of our patient population.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, based on experience and caseload availability.
