The Muscular Movement Physical Therapy team is seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our ranks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will primarily be focused on providing home care services, allowing you to connect with patients in a comfortable and familiar setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, balancing the needs of our patients with a supportive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and determine patients' needs by recognizing specific objectives and requirements, developing tailored treatment plans that address their unique challenges.
• Work with a manageable patient load, ensuring quality one-on-one care by dedicating sufficient time per patient, typically one hour per session.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques in therapy, focusing on pain relief, improved mobility, and enhanced functionality.
• Design and implement individualized exercise regimens that align with each patient's specific rehab goals, emphasizing non-invasive treatment options that lessen reliance on medications.
• Effectively document treatment sessions and outcomes within electronic medical record systems, utilizing software such as WebPT to streamline communication and care continuity.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery process, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere that enhances compliance and commitment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to discuss patient progress, share insights on treatment modifications, and optimize therapeutic strategies.
• Continuously monitor patient outcomes, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position involves working with a diverse patient population, focusing primarily on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. You will have the opportunity to implement rehabilitation strategies that cater to a wide age range, from athletes striving to return to peak performance to older adults seeking improved mobility and functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions on your license, underscoring your professional integrity.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing your proficiency in managing orthopedic cases.
• Strong background in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design, contributing to effective treatment delivery.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance patient documentation and care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits
