Work Environment

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at Bistro Walk-in Clinic, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with varied hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and occasional evening clinics up to 8:00 p.m. Participation in weekend community outreach events or health fairs may be required. Our clinic prioritizes a work-life balance and offers approximately 40 hours of work per week to align with our commitment to employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for individuals and families in the community, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, providing tailored treatment plans that promote health and wellness.
• Advocate for patients' healthcare rights and access to necessary resources, ensuring culturally sensitive care that meets diverse needs.
• Collaborate with local community organizations and stakeholders to design and implement health education initiatives targeting prevalent health issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards to support quality patient care.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate follow-up care, ensuring continuity in the patient experience.
• Engage in health education outreach, participating in local events and health fairs to improve health awareness and screening opportunities.
• Continuously update yourself on community health trends, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practices to enhance care delivery.

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population in Syracuse, which includes families and individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with an active state nursing license.
• A Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program, underpinning your advanced clinical knowledge.

Compensation and Benefits
