Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions through video conferencing platforms, effectively using teletherapy to ensure client engagement and support.

• Assess clients' needs using evidence-based practices, incorporating standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to develop personalized treatment plans.
\n
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and other modalities suited to the client’s goals.

• Advocate for clients, offering guidance and support in setting realistic and achievable objectives for their personal and mental health growth.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians within our hospice center, ensuring a holistic approach to care for all individuals served.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

• Participate in supervisory and peer consultation meetings to enhance clinical skills and discuss case dynamics, ensuring best practices in our clinical approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals facing mental health challenges related to chronic illness, grief, and adjustment to life transitions in our hospice setting. Our clients often require skilled support in navigating their mental health needs while dealing with complex emotional and practical concerns surrounding end-of-life issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington, with no disciplinary actions.

• Proven clinical experience in individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with diverse client populations.

• Technological proficiency and the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your commitment to improving the lives of our clients will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 70,000 , commensurate with your experience.
