Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Prairie Behavioral Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of your patients and crafting tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Maintaining ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams, including your supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, and other relevant individuals to track patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

• Facilitating home visits to monitor patient well-being in their environment, coupled with detailed chart reviews and comprehensive data analysis to ensure effective treatment delivery.

• Documenting patient interactions and progress through monthly and quarterly reports, maintaining accurate records that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engaging actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss patient cases, share insights, and collaborate on treatment strategies for optimal patient outcomes.

• Designing and organizing training sessions to ensure staff competency in program implementations and knowledge of documentation protocols.

• Acting as a liaison for patients and the broader mental health community, advocating for the needs of individuals and supporting their development goals.

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults and youth facing a range of challenges, including substance misuse, trauma, and family-related issues. Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Texas.
