Position Overview

Atlantic Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our outpatient office located in Newark, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Effectively implement therapy interventions and regularly reassess patient progress to optimize care outcomes.
• Engage in consultations with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
• Document all aspects of patient treatment in compliance with healthcare regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, ensuring high standards of care and productivity.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a physical therapy setting, specifically in outpatient care.
