Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through both preliminary interviews and ongoing assessments, meticulously documenting each case from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing their mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to foster a safe environment for expression and healing.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on the evolving needs of the client.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses—to develop comprehensive intervention plans that enhance client care.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with clients' medical providers, ensuring continuity of care for those requiring hospitalization or additional medical support.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges, promoting a proactive approach to mental health management.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the complexities of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support at the Eleanor Behavioral Health Center span a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, tailoring your approach to meet the cultural, social, and individual needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor certification (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong background in mental health counseling, evidenced by prior work experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to efficiently manage client information.
\n
• Knowledge of common physical and emotional health disorders, including addiction, and their implications on mental health.
\n
• Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is preferred.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.

• Understanding the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their impact on mental health.

• Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to build interpersonal relationships with clients and caregivers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
