Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each client’s specific challenges, mental health history, and personal circumstances, particularly focusing on older adults.

• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring that each client receives a comprehensive treatment experience.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, helping them to understand available treatment options and connect with community resources that can aid their journey.

• Maintain meticulous compliance with documentation requirements, ensuring all records are accurate, confidential, and in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on older adults, who may present with a variety of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairments. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, with a strong foundation in geriatric mental health best practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
