Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate therapy sessions with individuals, families, and groups, focusing on the development of coping strategies and fostering emotional health.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training to stay current on best practices and new research in the mental health field.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is necessary to ensure effective and impactful client care.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and the ability to utilize technology efficiently in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits
