Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a telehealth setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible schedule. Working hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that evaluate psychological, emotional, and environmental factors affecting the mental health of children and adolescents.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that account for each patient's developmental stage and family dynamics, utilizing a variety of evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to address specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in understanding and responding to their child’s needs, enhancing their ability to provide a nurturing environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-coordinated approach to patient care, allowing for comprehensive mental health management.

• Respond promptly to mental health crises involving young patients, providing immediate support and intervention where necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, promoting informed decision-making in care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations as well as engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Stay current with research trends, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to continually enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers around providing exceptional mental health counseling to children and adolescents facing a spectrum of challenges, including developmental issues, emotional disturbances, and crisis situations. You will deliver care that respects the distinct experiences and cultural backgrounds of each young patient and assist families in navigating their mental health journey. Your work will not only help alleviate individual suffering but will also foster healthier emotional environments within families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on child and adolescent mental health.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders prevalent in children and adolescents, alongside familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Skilled in providing both individual and family therapy, demonstrating a compassionate approach conducive to building trust with young patients and their families.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to convey complex information in an understandable way.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and competent with general computer applications.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications, alongside a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
