Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still enabling you to engage directly with our clients through virtual consultations. Our supportive outpatient office environment, though remote, fosters teamwork and collaboration through regular digital meetings and case discussions. You will work from Monday to Friday, typically between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some flexibility expected to meet the needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, gathering information to create tailored treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, employing personalized strategies that factor in patients' cultural and personal backgrounds to enhance effectiveness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using engaging methodologies to address various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care effectively and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention when needed, offering support and guidance during mental health emergencies and maintaining a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, help them navigate treatment options, and connect them with community resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural sensitivities in therapy.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally relevant approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, with a capacity to manage emergencies calmly and effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems along with familiarity with other relevant software applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
