Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Boulevard Psychiatry & Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and community connection among clients.

• Providing individualized therapy, addressing clients’ unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to establish tailored treatment plans that are goal-oriented and reflective of their specific needs.

• Monitoring client progress through consistent evaluations and assessments using evidence-based tools and methodologies.

• Engaging in regular communication with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective care and discuss complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This population often faces challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life issues. Your work will focus on fostering resilience, encouraging open dialogue, and providing a safe space where clients can explore their mental health journeys in depth.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for the LPC position at Boulevard Psychiatry & Counseling, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A current and valid license as a Professional Counselor in the State of Tennessee.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience is not mandatory, candidates who have the following will be given preference:

• Previous work experience in outpatient settings, particularly with young adult populations.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
