Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.

• Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific mental health needs and personal goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitoring client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Providing education and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, effective treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a continuum of care and integrated treatment strategies.

• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Therapist will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele consists of diverse individuals from varying backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and treatment needs. As such, the Therapist will need to adopt a culturally sensitive approach to care, ensuring all clients feel supported and understood.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the State of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
