Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting specific, measurable goals customized to their unique needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting techniques based on client progress and feedback.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote overall mental well-being.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, employing outcome measures and maintaining detailed documentation to inform treatment adjustments and ensure quality care.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's mental and physical health are addressed comprehensively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.

• Solid understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Proficient in psychopharmacology to facilitate coordination of care with medication management professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, coupled with a sign-on bonus of $3,000.
