Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans by evaluating clients’ mental health status, goals, and expectations during initial assessments.

• Provide ongoing support and motivation for clients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals and overcome difficult emotional or behavioral hurdles.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance the quality of care and support for clients.

• Maintain meticulous and secure clinical documentation of all counseling sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current on relevant mental health research, methodologies, and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Amara Counseling Services, you will lead therapeutic sessions with a varied client base that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our clients often face challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and behavioral concerns. Your training and empathy will be pivotal in building trusting relationships that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and valid license to practice as a Professional Counselor in the state of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary range from $70,000 to $90,000, dependent on experience and caseload.
