Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will undertake a variety of impactful responsibilities within your role, including but not limited to:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport, and building strong therapeutic alliances while upholding professional ethics and client confidentiality.

• Conducting regular assessments and follow-ups to review clients’ progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Administering initial intake assessments to evaluate new clients effectively.
\n
• Conducting a minimum number of individual therapy sessions each week to ensure that counseling interventions are delivered consistently.

• Attending individual supervision sessions to discuss cases and receive feedback aimed at enhancing clinical skills.

• Collaboratively working with other professionals in the healthcare field to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Fostering a growth mindset by actively engaging in professional development and dialogue during team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth and adolescents, so it is crucial that candidates possess a passion for working with this demographic. You will be instrumental in creating positive outcomes for young clients dealing with mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and substance use. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in mental health or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• At least one year of experience managing psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
