Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct individual therapy and facilitate group therapy sessions for clients with mood disorders, ensuring to tailor approaches to meet each individual’s unique needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress in accordance with agency standards and licensing requirements.

• Engaging actively in unit programming by contributing ideas for client activities and facilitating workshops or training sessions for fellow clinicians.

• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, providing insights and consultation to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Inner Magic Counseling, you will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on those experiencing mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Diverse knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong familiarity with psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medication management teams.

• Demonstrated success in delivering effective treatment for mood disorders, evidenced by strong clinical outcomes.
