Business Development Associate

Braintree Solution Consulting, Inc. is looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual with a desire to learn and an interest in contributing to the company's success. We are searching for a dynamic individual who will help identify and follow up with new clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and create and prepare proposals for potential and existing clients. Braintree’s clients include cities, states, federal and international clients in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. The candidate must have a minimum of three combined years of experience with marketing, business positioning, proposal writing, and direct sales. Principal Responsibilities Assist Braintree’s efforts to introduce its services to federal, state, and local governments. Conduct marketing efforts and follow‑up. Coordinate the completion of a proposal to become listed on the GSA Federal Supply Schedule for MOBIS procurements. Contribute to the development of PowerPoint presentations. Conduct research on and initiate contact with potential new clients in a business development capacity. Position Qualifications Mid‑level role; the ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and detail‑oriented. Exceptional writing, verbal communication, and customer‑service skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Background in socioeconomic development preferred but not required; graduate degree preferred. Demonstrated commitment to non‑partisan, non‑ideological objective research and ability to work with foundations, community‑based organizations, researchers, and governmental agencies. Expected to acquire a basic understanding of a specific analytical methodology and its application to socioeconomic development issues. Experience with databases, graphical display of information, and web‑page development is a plus.
