Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing specific assessments, and documenting the findings comprehensively.
• Develop and explain personalized treatment plans to patients and their families, engaging them in goal-setting to enhance motivation and compliance.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicating any changes in patient condition that may require adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring adequate transition to ongoing care and documenting all details of the patient's treatment journey.
• Exhibit strong time management skills by organizing your schedule, meeting productivity standards, and engaging in hospital and community outreach activities.
• Contribute to departmental objectives by actively participating in team meetings and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote a positive patient experience by maintaining flexibility and adaptability in treatment plans and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with a varied patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Our patients often seek help for mobility limitations due to orthopedic issues, neurological conditions, or post-operative recovery. Your role will be to empower these individuals to regain their independence through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is required.
• American Heart Association CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with home care practices and community health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
