Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' trauma histories and inform treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices.

• Deploy therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate therapy groups aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to create integrated treatment pathways for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during acute trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, emotional regulation, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain rigorous documentation standards in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure client confidentiality and progress tracking.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and developmental activities that enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methods in trauma therapy to integrate best practices into your treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role revolves around clients who have experienced significant trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population varies in age and background, each coming with unique histories and challenges. Your work will significantly impact their recovery journeys by providing empathetic support and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to convey compassion, respect, and understanding in all client interactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other relevant software.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.

• Familiarity with trauma-focused interventions and techniques, enhancing the therapeutic process for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
