Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a warm and supportive atmosphere, primarily within the clients' homes throughout Arlington. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement physical therapy treatment programs to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function, ensuring alignment with physician-prescribed care plans.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to guarantee the appropriate execution of treatments.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical capabilities, employing diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint function, and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Assess clients' home environments and recommend modifications that enhance safety and promote independence.
• Administer various physical therapy techniques, including manual therapies, exercise regimens, and the application of physical agents such as traction or electrical stimulation.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices in consultation with physicians to ensure optimal functionality for clients.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, evaluations, and care plans as per agency standards.
• Consult with clients and their families regarding education on home exercise programs and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical and administrative documentation to facilitate seamless operations within the branch.
• Engage in regular communication with other healthcare professionals to ensure coherent and effective treatment pathways for clients.
• Perform on-site assessments to continually update and improve clients' plans of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Muscle Mastery Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with clients recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or dealing with age-related conditions that affect mobility. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• One year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting.

• A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
