Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to address the unique needs of young clients.

• Utilize electronic medical records to document patient interactions, track progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide information and assistance regarding financial or social service needs to support clients and their families.
\n
• Participate actively in professional development by pursuing ongoing training and volunteer to lead or attend workshops and team meetings.

• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills by managing a caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks, and swiftly addressing urgent needs.

• Maintain compliance with Oregon’s licensing regulations and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, inclusive environment for personal and professional growth.

• Perform additional duties and participate in projects as assigned by supervisory staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on young people dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues that may impact their educational experience and personal development. Clients will include adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and social pressures. The counselor will work closely with family members and educational institutions to cultivate an environment of support and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high caseload volumes effectively while ensuring high-quality care.

• Ability to motivate youth clients and engage them with enthusiasm and empathy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a counseling or therapeutic capacity is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The comprehensive benefits package includes a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include:
