Work Environment

As a member of our rehabilitation center, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility designed for optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, which includes reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and determining effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in goal-setting processes to promote engagement in their recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and adapt them as necessary based on patient progress and changes in their health status.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals, documenting any modifications to care plans and recognizing when to refer patients for further medical attention.
• Manage discharge planning, ensuring patients receive clear follow-up instructions and ongoing support when needed.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of all patient encounters, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to provide a comprehensive account of patient care.
• Exhibit strong time management skills to meet productivity expectations while ensuring each patient receives the attention they deserve.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and quality measures, including involvement in community outreach and marketing efforts.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and support team development by serving as a mentor to student interns.
• Help create a superior patient experience by encouraging flexible and adaptable care solutions that exceed patient expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. As an orthopedic physical therapist, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions that affect movement and functionality. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current CPR certification.
